Latin name : Citrus limon L.

Country of lemon origin : Italy.

Biochemical of lemon essential oil constituents (chemotype) :
- Alpha pinene : 1.96% :
- Sabinene : 2.31% ;
- Beta pinene : 13.71% ;
- Myrcene : 1.53% ;
- Lemonene : 69.59% ;
- Gamma terpinene : 6.98% ;
- Citral : 0.78%.

Its properties :
- It cleanses the liver and helps cleanse the digestive system.
- It is antiseptic, including olfactory pathway, and contributes to the consolidation of offices or homes.
- It strengthens blood vessels, and thus proves to be useful against venous insufficiency (water retention, cellulite ...).
- It helps in the elimination of fat.
- It facilitates drainage and digestion.
- It's a good nervous regulator.
- It is diuretic.
- It relieves nausea in pregnant women.
- It is active against atherosclerosis.
- It improves circulation (blood liquefying).
- It gives a cooler / bright / radiant.
- The fight against hydrolipidic retention (cellulite).

Contraindication :
Do not apply this pure essential oil on the skin (unless exceptionally and on a small area) because it can be aggressive. And never have sun exposure: it is photo sensitive, which might leave permanent tasks!

My opinion :
However, locally applied and "covered", it helps remove freckles.

Warning : Not suitable for children under 3 years. Beware of pets especially cats, essential oils in general can be fatal. In case of serious or chronic illness, parallel processing, allergies, children in infancy, elderly or pregnant, please consult a professional before using an essential oil of any kind.

Modes : in atmospheric diffusion, dermal, inhalation dry (on a handkerchief), purely orally for digestive disorders (seek medical advice if symptoms persist after 48h / 72h.) .

Keep the container in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight.
